Jeff Feeler

Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer

Jeff Feeler is Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of US Ecology, Inc. Jeff brings over 20 years of business experience serving in various executive level positions including US Ecology's Chief Financial Officer from 2007 to 2012. Prior to joining the Company, Jeff worked with MWI Veterinary Supply, Inc., Albertson's, Inc., Hewlett-Packard and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Jeff is a Certified Public Accountant and has a BBA of Finance and BBA of Accounting from Boise State University. Jeff joined the Board of Directors in 2013 and was appointed Chairman of the Board in 2015.

Steve Welling

Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Steve Welling is Executive Vice President responsible for all Sales & Marketing activities in the US and Canada. He directs our highly skilled North American sales force and is responsible for executing strategies to grow hazardous and radioactive waste services at the company's six (6) treatment and disposal facilities. Mr. Welling maintains over 20 years' experience in the regulated waste marketplace and has worked extensively on many successful new market development projects. He established the company's national sales organization in 2001 and has since been actively involved in developing and leading corporate growth initiatives. He previously held various National Accounts, Sales Management and Business Development positions at Envirosource, Inc. a steel mill services and environmental company. Prior to joining Envirosource, Mr. Welling was Vice President of Sales for Matlack, Inc. a national bulk logistics company.

Simon Bell

Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Simon Bell is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, responsible for all the Company’s operating assets and services. Bell joined the Company in 2001 as Environmental Manager at its Grand View, Idaho facility and later served as the Idaho facility's General Manager prior to being appointed Vice President of Hazardous Waste Operations in December 2005, Vice President of Operations in 2006 and Executive Vice President of Operations in 2014 . Before joining the Company, Bell served as Vice President and General Manager of a hazardous waste disposal facility in Colorado. Bell also served in a variety of technical and managerial roles in the mining industry in Alaska, Idaho, Nevada and South Dakota. He holds a B.S. in Geology from Colorado State University.

Eric Gerratt

Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer

Eric Gerratt is Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer and is responsible for the Company’s finance, treasury, accounting and reporting functions. Eric joined US Ecology in August of 2007 and has over 15 years of experience in financial reporting and accounting. Previously he served as Vice President of Accounting for SUPERVALU, Inc. Prior to SUPERVALU, he held various director level accounting and finance positions at Albertsons, Inc., after 6 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he provided audit, accounting and business advisory services. Eric is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Idaho.

Matt Dahl

Vice President, Business Development and Strategic Planning

Matt Dahl has been with US Ecology for two years and has over 19 years mergers and acquisitions, strategy and capital markets experience.  Before joining US Ecology, he spent 16 years in investment banking and advisory, assisting companies in diverse industries on strategic transactions and financing.  During that time, Matt was a Managing Director and led investment banking practices at boutique M&A firms including Signal Hill Capital Group.  He was a Principal at Bank of America where he led their West Coast communications technology practice and a Vice President at Citi where he advised companies in technology, diversified industries and specialty finance.  Matt holds dual engineering degrees in Chemical Engineering and Paper Science Engineering from the University of Washington.

Wayne Ipsen

Vice President, Corporate Counsel, Compliance Officer and Secretary

Wayne Ipsen is Vice President, Corporate Counsel, Compliance Officer and Secretary. He joined the Company in April of 2003 and is responsible for legal matters of the Company, oversees its compliance and ethics program and serves as corporate Secretary. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Ipsen worked with the Boise-based law firm of Elam & Burke and the Seattle office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Accountancy (Tax) degrees from Brigham Young University and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Idaho College of Law. Mr. Ipsen is a licensed attorney in the state of Idaho and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Thames Kral

Vice President, Information Technology

Thames Kral is Vice President of Information Technology responsible for the Company's overall IT strategy and implementation. Thames joined US Ecology in November of 2013 and has over 20 years of experience as a CIO and systems engineer, developing and implementing IT solutions. Prior to joining US Ecology, he spent 17 years as Chief Information Officer of CTA (California Teachers Association) after four years with Arthur Anderson as a Senior Manager, Business Consulting. Prior to joining Arthur Anderson he was a Systems Engineer with Electronic Data Systems and also spent five years at Hewlett Packard. Thames has a BBA in Finance and a BBA in Marketing from Boise State University and AMP from Harvard Law School.

Andrew Marshall

Senior Vice President of Environmental Health & Safety

Andrew (Andy) Marshall is the Senior Vice President of Environmental Health & Safety. Mr. Marshall is a Professional Engineer with over 20 years experience assisting companies comply with environmental regulations. Prior to joining US Ecology, he was an associate at Kleinfelder, a national environmental consulting firm, and provided engineering consulting services and leading the company's environmental regulatory compliance practice. Mr. Marshall worked for Boise Cascade Corporation for thirteen years in various capacities including corporate environmental manager and as a project manager for strategic initiatives. Mr. Marshall earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Seattle University, his Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Oregon State University, and MBA from Northwest Nazarene University.

Betsy Sterk

Vice President of Human Resources

As Vice President of Human Resources, Betsy Sterk is responsible for employment, compensation and benefits programs, training and development, and payroll. With the support of the operating facility HR Representatives, she also develops policy and operating procedures for human resources management. She has been HR Director since 2003. Sterk joined the Company in 1996 after working as a human resources professional at Morrison Knudsen for 15 years. Born in Colombia, South America, she holds a degree in Business Administration and is a Certified Payroll Professional.
